Position Description: The CRTA Fellow will function as a member of the OD team and work to support coordination, planning, evaluation, and analysis of various programmatic, scientific, and planning activities across DCCPS, including strategic planning and implementation processes. The CRTA Fellow will have the opportunity to interact with scientists on projects related to the mission of the OD, DCCPS. Examples of research and programmatic areas of emphasis include health disparities, cancer genomics and other ‘omics approaches within the context of population sciences.

Qualifications: • Graduate Degree (Master or PhD) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Sciences or related disciplines. Interest in meta- research is desirable; • Undergraduate courses in biology, genetics or molecular sciences; • Proven data management and statistical analysis skills (record of recent publications preferred); • Experience with related scientific literature, databases and data analysis packages; • Strong communication and writing skills; • Excellent academic standing; • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills; • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and on research teams;

Organization Description: The Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) aims to reduce cancer risk, incidence, and death and enhance quality of life for cancer survivors by supporting innovative research and recommending ways to apply that research in quality health care delivery.
