Position Description: The Manager of Research works to implement research around testing, network science, HIV, linkage, and retention programs for CCHE and The Village. Works with the CCHE research team, Testing Manager, Manager of Supportive Services, Manager of Outreach and Care Engagement, Linkage to care specialist, resource counselors, Center Director and Principle Investigators. Leads efforts to execute scopes for various research projects at CCHE and the Village. Oversees all research projects and engages in research related activities (including recruitment). Develops and implements research study protocols. Coordinates and implements IRB submissions and reporting. Coordinates efforts of other research staff.

The candidate will oversee research projects at CCHE and The Village. This candidate will provide support to research staff, assist with research design/protocols, and engage in administrative tasks related to research. They will supervise other staff working on various research projects. The candidate will recruit and retain clients for CCHE/The Village research. Projects require the integration of multiple teams and services into research projects, the understanding of research methodology, and attention to detail. The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of new research projects at CCHE, including grant writing. The manager may be required to support research projects by working directly with research participants and completing surveys.

This position is grant funded.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Master's degree in public health science, social work, or related field preferred.

Work related experience: Required: 3 years of research related experience, including interviewing research participants. 2 years of experience working with and/or providing care to LGBT populations and coordinating or providing administrative support.

Preferred: Previous work experience with NIH, CDC or other grant funders.
