Position Description: Supervises the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) staff and oversees the daily operations of the NFP Program. This program supports women who are having their first baby. Essential duties and responsibilities: 1. Participates in the hiring and recruitment of the NFP staff. 2. Completes required NFP training and ensures that staff completes required training. 3. Assigns caseloads and monitors home staff home visitation. 4. Provides supervision, guidance and evaluation of NFP staff. 5. Monitors the NFP budget. 6. Performs outreach for the NFP Program and participates in community meetings regarding NFP women and their families. 7. Oversees NFP reporting. 8. Analyzes NFP reports. 9. Serves as liaison with national and state NFP offices. 10. Performs all related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required

Qualifications: TO APPLY, must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing + Five (5) full-time years of work experience in professional nursing. OR TO APPLY, must have a Master's degree or higher in epidemiology, sciences, nursing, sociology, humanities, psychology, public health, healthcare management, business or public administration + Three (3) full-time years of work experience in professional nursing.

TO APPLY, must hold current Texas RN license

TO APPLY, must possess valid Driver License. Note: Texas driver license required to hold the position.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must possess strong planning and organizational skills.

Competency with Microsoft Office products required.

Knowledge of data management software preferred.

Must possess ability to prepare investigative reports, case summaries, monitoring reports, and presentations.

Knowledge of quality management standards and processes, such as auditing and improvement cycles, highly desirable.
