Position Description: The position is a contributing member of multiple research, technical assistance, policy development, and programmatic teams depending on scope of work.  The center's current scope of work includes health care access, health insurance, health policy, child health and child policy, school health, long?term care, cancer, community health system development, public health system, social determinants of health equity, Medicaid, behavioral health and disabilities. The RA I will provide research and project support that contributes to a scientifically sound background for center activities. In addition, the RA I will coordinate special projects as assigned by senior staff, facilitate meetings, assist in the development of grants, and assist in the preparation, coordination and dissemination of various GHPC communication materials. Responsibilities of this position include:    ? Provides program and research support that leads to scientifically sound background for GHPC activities. ? Facilitates group meetings through the use of meeting design strategies to ensure that meeting goals and objectives are met. ? Coordinates special projects as assigned by senior project staff, including assisting with special requests by funder,GHPCcenterdirector projects and other projects as assigned. ? Assists with the preparation, coordination, and dissemination of various project specific communication materials including reports, promotional and meeting materials. ? Assist senior staff in identifying and responding to new research and funding opportunities.

Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

PREFERRED HIRING QUALIFICATIONS It is expected that the candidate will have knowledge of general health policy and qualitative and quantitative research. Experience in survey administration, data analysis of multiple data sources, and working with a variety of stakeholders is strongly desired. Candidate must also demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills.
