Position Description: Assists in the implementation of timely disease intervention strategies to decrease the prevalence of communicable diseases; Performs investigations, data collection and analysis, interpretation, surveillance, and reporting activities; Provides case management services (home visits, clinic referrals, patient education/counseling) to clients with various communicable diseases (primarily sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS); Serves as primary linkage coordinator for the district with the responsibility to complete and submit monthly reports.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in public health or closely related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a Master’s degree in Public Health and related experience. Excellent presentation skills. Closely supervised work experience demonstrating competence in conducting public health surveillance, analyzing epidemiologic data, conducting in-depth outbreak investigations, reporting results of analysis of epidemiologic data and implementing disease control measures and strategies. Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
