Position Description: **Anticipated Vacancy**

This is a professional position located in the the Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention unde under the direct supervision of the Oper Operations Manager (Healthiest Weight Flor Florida Section Administrator). This posi position requires appropriate health educ education background and experience to effe effectively direct community chronic disease heal health promotion and education programs. The over overall responsibility of this position is to s to support initiatives and projects for Heal Healthiest Weight Florida. In addition, this posi position manages contracts as needed. Duti Duties include, but are not limited to, the foll following:

•Serves as contract manager for projects wor working on a statewide strategy to increase hea healthy nutrition and physical activity best pra practices.

•Provides technical assistance to county hea health departments related to Healthiest Wei Weight activities and strategies.

•Works with programs related to chronic dis disease prevention on a statewide basis. Pro Provides professional development, tools, and and resources for community health edu education.

•Develops communication products and cam campaigns related to Healthiest Weight Flo Florida and the Bureau of Chronic Disease Pre Prevention.

•Assists with information technology inc including use of the SharePoint sites, out outside webinars, internal use of webinar sof software, and basic computer support ser services.

•Participates in and attends educational opp opportunities to further enhance personal and and professional development.

•Performs other duties as assigned or required. Complies with and (when applicable) monitors compliance of the mandatory requirements in Section 215.422, F.S. and Chapter 3A-24, FAC. Also, assists in decisions regarding hiring and supervision of other unit positions.

Qualifications: Education:

Preferred: Bachelor Degree

Preference will be given to those who meet the following minimum requirements:

•Professional health education experience - 2 yea years

2 years •Professional contract management experience - - 2 years
