Position Description: C-TAC is working with leaders in the field who recognize the value and effectiveness of a performance index as a mechanism for improving healthcare nationwide. A spectrum of healthcare providers and public members have advised C-TAC on the key components of the ACT Index, which was presented at the C-TAC National Summit. The next steps involve roll-outs of versions that are state-specific or apply to local communities and individual health systems, which will benefit individuals and families as they choose their care.

C-TAC needs a person(s) with strong analytic skills and familiarity with Excel and SAS, SPSS, STATA or another statistical software application. Candidates will work independently and remotely for around 10 hours per week over at least a three-month period to help develop the next set of ACT Index features. They will work with C-TAC’s Chief Clinical Innovations Officer, David Longnecker, Bill Hannon, the index’s co- creator, and Senior Research Associate, Sibel Ozcelik, to deliver these products in time for the 2018 Summit in October.

Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience or training in the use of SAS computer software • Working knowledge of methods to analyze quantitative data • Ability to document methods and findings for the purpose of explanation and archiving • Ability to organize personal work processes and products • Ability to work as part of a project team
