Position Description: The Project Manager is part of a large independent team of researchers and staff who are evaluating a complex Medicaid policy change in New York State. The Project Manager will be a main contact person for much of the daily operations of the contract. Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), the Project Manager will oversee all project components. This includes: Meet with PI face-to-face weekly to review progress and project needs; attend monthly progress meetings with Evaluation Team; prepare IRB documentation and assist the PI who is responsible for ensuring ongoing protection of human subjects; review all project reports, and forward deliverables in a timely manner to the PI for final review and submission; draft weekly reports for the PI; draft quarterly reports for the PI; work with editing team (including peer review and graphics) to ensure all deliverables meet a publication-level standard; submit draft documentation to the PI to finalize; prepare data displays and slides for presentations; anticipates project bottlenecks and prepares plan to resolve concern; serve as liaison between the research team and the sponsor; serve as liaison between the research team and Research Foundation; monitor fiscal expenditures and reimbursements; attend all management meetings and share extensively written write ups with the full study team; supervise project coordinator to coordinate all project logistics (travel, meetings, locations, document organization).

Qualifications: Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from a college or university accredited by USDOE, or an internationally recognized accrediting organization in business, public policy, social sciences, public health or other relevant area of health policy . Five years of experience within research and evaluation projects, including data access, data analysis, and report writing. Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with a culturally diverse population. Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience in supervisory roles.
