Position Description: The Georgia Department of Public Health is the l the lead agency entrusted by the people of the s the state of Georgia with the ultimate respo responsibility for the health of communities and t and the entire population. The agency is seeking a highly qualified can candidate for the position of Quality Man Management Nurse Consultant within the Div Division of Health Protection, HIV Section.

Job Responsibilities: Assist with the maintenance and docum documentation of Advanced Practice Regis Registered Nurses (APRN) and Physician Assis Assistants (PA) who work in the AIDS Drug Assis Assistance Program (ADAP). Assist with the planning quarterly Quality Mana Management (QM) Core Team meetings. Occasional chair quarterly QM Core Team mee meetings. Work with the Office of Nursing to revise th the HIV Nurse Protocols. Assist with compiling and disseminating c clinical chart review reports. Act as a liaison to other Ryan White Parts (A, C, & D) attending meetings where appropriate. Assists with revising the Georgia Department of Public Health Guidelines for Standard Precautions and Bloodborne Bloodborne Pathogens. Coordinates and presents trainings on Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement. Assists with the implementing the self-assessments for QM Core Team, a analyzing results and presentations back to t the QM Core Team. Directly responsible for 5-8 Districts monitori monitoring quality management plans, quality improvem improvement act improvem improvement activities, and providing technica technical assistance when indicated. Assists in the development, monitoring and evaluat evaluation of other CQI projects as they arise a arise and Participates as part of an annual audit t audit team that w t audit team that will conduct site visits to all fun all funded dis fun all funded districts. Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health or related relat related related field from an accredited college or universi univ universi university AND Three years of PHN experience

OR

Bachelor's degree Nursing from an accredited coll college or university AND Five years of PHN expe experience AND Current Georgia Professional Nurs Nurse license AND CPR certified.

OR

Three years at the lower level (HCP211) or position equivalent AND Current Georgia Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified
