Position Description: Program, edit and analyze National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) lab data, http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhanes.htm, at the CDC National Center for Health Statistics. Will perform software analysis and programming on lab data. Candidate will support quality control, health research, and public data release on the Internet.

Qualifications: Education required – At least a BS in Computer Science, IT, statistics, research or related field. field. At least 3 years of experience with the SAS SAS programming language and SAS Macros. Good communication skills. SAS Certifications. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with NHANES data; laboratory information management systems; and clinical laboratory quality control practices.
