Position Description: This position is for an analyst who will work with diverse genomic and phenotypic data on craniofacial birth defects. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing and analyzing these data to answer specific research questions in conjunction with study investigators. Activities include: managing genomic and phenotypic datasets, preparing documentation, scripts, and tools, preparing genomic- specific variables, depositing data and documentation in databases, merging data and manipulating files, troubleshooting data issues, visualizing results, and communicating results with the PI and collaborators.

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field and two years related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, public health, or a related field. Demonstrable experience genetic/genomic data and proficiency in using R/Bioconductor, Plink, Linux command line is desirable. Excellent data management, programming, and communication skills are required.
