NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice Program (OHNEP), a grant-funded initiative to advance a national nursing and interprofessional oral health agenda. The Coordinator manages day-to-day administrative, financial, and other related program operations. The Coordinator manages the OHNEP website, e- newsletter, and other web-based products, evaluates measures of program outcomes, including performance metrics for OHNEP education and clinical initiatives, and prepares grant reports. Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and proposes recommendations for quality improvement and implements improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities: • Collect and evaluate quality metrics related to program aims, activities, outcomes, and faculty/professional development programs. • Assist Program Director with drafting grant proposals and reports, abstracts and manuscript submissions. • Create and administer web-based research surveys using Qualtrics for pre- post evaluation of OHNEP workshops. • Monitor calls for abstracts, research proposals, and other grant/funding opportunities. • Act as a liaison between Program Directors and interprofessional oral health stakeholders. Conduct electronic database searches and evidence-based literature reviews using online research management tool (i.e., RefWorks); format bibliographic references using APA 6th edition style; and other research activities as assigned. • Coordinate meeting, event and program arrangements including, but not limited to, travel, lodging, facility space, catering, and technology. • Manage OHNEP website in collaboration with University offices (i.e., ITS). • Manage program budget including, but not limited to, ordering supplies, materials management, processing expense reimbursements, monitoring budget expenditures, reviewing monthly summary and detailed expense reports, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances. • Prepare OHNEP quarterly and year- end reports related to program aims, activities, and outcomes.

Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in health-related field, or equivalent combination of experience. Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year professional experience in program and budget management. Research or statistical course work completion, or experience as a research assistant.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Effective oral / written communication and professional presentation skills, including use of social media Preferred Education: Master’s degree in health-related field.

Preferred Experience: Experience with online research management tool (i.e., RefWorks). Experience with website management.
