Position Description: We are seeking an in-person instructor for our Biostatistics course in the MPH Program at Arcadia University, which is located just outside of Philadelphia. This course is designed to give an overview of the descriptive and inferential statistics needed to interpret health related data and apply the statistics needed to analyze and evaluate health-related literature and research in the core disciplines of public health including: social and behavioral science, health management and policy, and environmental health. Students are expected to become proficient in SPSS through well-designed laboratory assignments and a final project utilizing a large dataset.

Qualifications: MS/MPH in Biostatistics required; PhD in Public Health with a focus on analytics, quantitative methods or biostatistics preferred

Must have at least 1 semester of teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level

Organization Description: Programs offered within the Department of Public Health include a BSPH with a concentration in Global Health, an undergraduate minor in Global Public Health, MPH in Community Health, and MPH dual degrees with the Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, International Peace and Conflict Resolution, and Counseling programs. All programs are currently accredited by CEPH. We are seeking a candidate who is committed to balancing teaching with research and service at the university and professional levels.
