Position Description: Our Prevention Research Center is in search of a Research Associate to support a Federal grant conducting data analysis using statistical software with the application of univariate, bivariate and multivariate statistical techniques.

SOME PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Library search of bibliographical materials associated with the research being conducted by the grant’s PI Support in the preparation of grant- related manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed scientific journals Preparation of data tables Preparing and checking scientific references Formatting papers as required by different journals and proofreading Preparation of posters and slides for scientific presentations Translation of tables with data results in text and graphs using PowerPoint software Assisting study directors with Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation. Survey and other data analyses with Stata

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public health or a related discipline Master level course work in public health or a related discipline Expertise using STATA Knowledge of biostatistics Experience in data analysis Expertise with EndNote Excellent writing/communication skills Strong experience in formatting papers for submission Experience in maintaining grant-related records
