Position Description: The Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Post-Doctoral Research Fellow who will contribute to several federally-funded projects specific to violence prevention and intervention. The Fellow will work on intervention development, project coordination, and evaluation as well as grant proposal writing and scholarly dissemination of findings from other federally-funded studies, including ample opportunity for first-author publications.

Time allocation: • 35% program development and implementation • 40% project coordination • 25% scholarly dissemination of findings and grant writing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual in this position will work on a combination of programing, research, and administration/coordination/grant management. There may also be opportunities to mentor undergraduate and graduate students in addition to teaching an undergraduate psychology course. This position is ideal for an individual seeking a tenure-track position at a research-focused university. Specific tasks are as follows: • Conduct literature reviews relevant to programmatic and research components of the project • Assist project staff with the development of violence and substance misuse prevention and intervention initiatives; the Fellow may have the opportunity to co-author curricula as long as contributions are substantial • Assist in the selection, training, and supervision of program facilitators and research assistants • Lead the coordination of the research evaluation component of the projects • Assist with data management and analysis • Assist with scholarly dissemination of findings, including being the lead author on several papers each year.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in psychology, public health, or related field. Experience with (and/or knowledge of) program development and evaluation as well as record of (or strong potential for) scholarly dissemination.
