Position Description: Within the Department of Public Health, Infectious Diseases Section, this Epidemiologist 4 serves as the co-coordinator of the Epidemiology and Emerging Infections Program, as the designated State Public Health Veterinarian, and as the Department coordinator of the Epidemiology and Emerging Infections Program, as the designated State Public Health Veterinarian, and as the Department’s subject matter expert on zoonotic and vector-borne diseases. Responsibilities include oversight of the zoonotic and vector-borne disease activities in the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity and Emerging Infections Program cooperative agreements with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
