Within ACMT, the Toxicology Investigator's Consortium (ToxIC) serves as a research and collaboration network to advance the quality of care of poisoned patients and improve public health. About the Job ACMT is actively recruiting for a Toxicology Data Quality Associate. The successful candidate must be experienced in the handling, management and quality review of clinical or toxicological data. Under the supervision of the ToxIC Program Manager, the individual will support the standardized data collection across the multicenter, centralized ToxIC Registry. This is a REMOTE position requiring establishment of a set weekly schedule. This is a fixed-term, grant funded position (12 months), but with the potential for an extension.

Primary Responsibilities • Support the centralized collection, quality assurance and management of data by the collaborative ToxIC Registry utilizing the REDCap© electronic platform. • Assist with monthly data review, cleaning and follow back reporting across the consortium, including to conduct, summarize and prepare monthly reports on data quality, case entry and completeness for participating consortium members. • Create and manage research datasets with supporting documentation under appropriate version control and tracking protocol. • Maintain research protocol request, annual progress reporting and deliverables tracking system. • Provide administrative support to the ACMT Research Committee. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • BA/BS degree, with 2 or more years of recent work experience in research data use and management in a clinical health, disease surveillance, or pharmacology-related field. • One or more years direct experience in primary health data collection, data editing, and quality control. • Knowledge of basic medical, toxicology or pharmacology terminology. • Experience in electronic data handling and management including assisting with the review, transfer, consolidation and/or conversion of datasets between electronic platforms -- such as Excel, Stata, SPSS, etc. • Experience in the use of clinical, disease registry or research software such as REDCap, Medrio, or other Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems. • Attention to detail; strong, verbal and written communication skills to coordinate work, data requests and reporting to internal and external partners. • Ability to work well independently, complete projects in a timely manner, and prioritize multiple projects. • Experience in follow back and communication with multiple investigators and/or research sites. • Experience utilizing virtual office tools for collaboration such as Smartsheet or Google Apps for Business (email, calendar, docs, etc.).
