Position Description: The Environmental Health Epidemiologist will oversee epidemiologic efforts surrounding lead poisoning and childhood asthma. The person filling this position will work closely with LHHP and other staff within PDPH. The Environmental Health Epidemiologist will work in conjunction with LHHP’s senior staff to conduct routine surveillance of lead poisoning, evaluate program activities, and support grant-funded initiatives and deadlines. This individual will be responsible for creating regular reports, tracking general trends and conducting ad hoc analyses. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, creative, possesses strong quantitative skills, and has moderately advanced skills with data management, data cleaning, and data manipulation using SAS.
