The Department of Public Health at Agnes Scott College invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2019. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in public health or a related discipline at the time of appointment. We seek candidates with teaching experience in epidemiology or biostatistics with an active research portfolio and expertise in the U.S. context. Candidates with experience in health policy, chronic disease, social determinants of health, or mental health subject areas are of particular interest. The 3-2 teaching load will include an epidemiology survey course, a biostatistics course, contributions to the capstone course, and elective courses in the candidate’s areas of expertise. The successful candidate will also contribute courses to SUMMIT, the College’s leadership development and global learning initiative. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to working with a socially and economically diverse student population.

Applicants should submit a CV, evidence of established or emerging excellence in teaching and research, a diversity statement, and the names of three references to: facultysearch@agnesscott.edu. Additional materials, including sample syllabi and graduate transcripts, will be solicited from selected applicants later in the search process.
