Mervyn W. Susser Post-doctoral Fellowship Program in the Sergievsky Center
The Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York is seeking candidates for the Mervyn W. Susser Post- doctoral Research Fellowship Program.
The program supports new investigators to develop research careers studying prevention and treatment of adverse outcomes that arise in the early phases of life, including neurodevelopmental conditions of childhood and pediatric HIV infection.
The Program offers individually-tailored mentored research training integrated into the multi-disciplinary team of faculty within the Sergievsky Center and affiliated departments across CUIMC. Fellows will be supported for two years. Candidates with PhD’s or equivalent doctoral degrees (e.g., DrPH, DSc) in the health sciences (e.g., epidemiology, neuroscience, genetics), or MD degrees with master’s level training in epidemiology or biostatistics are also eligible. Candidates intending to pursue academic research careers in population- level research related to childhood neurodevelopment or perinatal HIV are encouraged to apply.
