Position Description: Responsibilities: 1.Analyzes data from various sources to support project planning/priority setting. Identifies populations in need of health outcome improvement;

2. Assists in design, implementation and monitoring of program and project evaluation plans. Analyzes primary data for purposes of program evaluation and reporting;

3. Monitors and supports data collection, management, and reporting. Assists in design, implementation and maintenance of standard internal and external dashboards.

4. Serves on agency and community committees as assigned; attends meetings, seminars, conferences, and other job-related training sessions as needed.

5. Responds for queries and data analysis requests by internal and external stakeholders. Generates reports of findings for internal and external partners.

6. Assists with development of survey instruments and assessments for primary data collection, as needed.

7. Coordinates and implements effective processes to maintain public health accreditation, including completion of required reports; documents and reports compliance with accreditation standards; coordinates and prepares an annual accreditation report.

8. Participates on quality improvement teams and/or employee work groups (e.g., identifies opportunities for improvement, contributes ideas for improving Health District operations and services, etc.).

9. Participates in Health District disaster preparedness activities; may be required to report for work outside normal working hours during an emergency.

10. Performs any and all other related duties as assigned or directed in order to promote, further, and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Henry County Health Department.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, public health, or related field required along with two (2) years of related experience including; data analysis, data management & manipulation, query writing (i.e., SQL or techniques), report writing, and database design. Master's degree in public health, health care administration, public administration or related field preferred; bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred.
