Purpose: The SOAR Specialist is responsible for statewide planning, coordination and management to ensure the successful implementation of Michigan’s SSI SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SO (SOAR) Initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct quarterly SOAR training c cohorts and maintain statewide network of c certified SOAR practitioners for Michigan. • Daily coordination and support to M MDHHS Regional SOAR Navigators. • Regularly monitor and address SOAR data quality and outcomes in the Online Application Tracking (OAT) system and complete Michigan’s annual SOAR report. • Facilitate bi-monthly technical assistance check-ins open to all Michigan S SOAR practitioners and provide targeted t technical assistance as needed/requested. • Create and distribute a quarterly SOAR E-Bulletin to all Michigan SOAR s stakeholders. • Lead quarterly SOAR State Steering Committee meetings and assist with Michigan’s Annual Statewide SOAR Meeting. • Research and pursue opportunities to enhance and develop Michigan’s SOAR Init Initiative.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree degree is required.
Experience: At least three years of expe experience in grant management and/or prog program development. Experience with SOAR is r is required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Position will be based in the Housing and Homeless Services office in Lansing. Regular in-state travel and occasional out-of of-state travel required.
