Position Description: The CDC Foundation seeks candidates for a full time Administrative Assistant to support the CDC. This position is full time, and works 40 hours a week. This position provides customer service support to families and administrative support to NC OCME forensic pathologists in response to the increased volume of calls and requests received in relation to the surge in opioid-related deaths in NC. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with the nation’s lead agency charged with protecting the public's health. The CDC Foundation offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package. RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to calls from families, law enforcement, attorneys, and the public Schedule court appointments and other meetings for NC OCME pathologists. Perform general administrative duties including faxing, emailing, and mailing correspondence. Other duties as assigned?

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of experience providing office support and administrative services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular experience reviewing and editing documents. Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills; collegial; energetic; and able to develop productive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners.
