Position Description: • Conduct outreach and assist in the recruitment process • Screen parents/participants for eligibility and schedule initial visits • Administer questionnaires to study participants, including those with limited English proficiency • Assist in the collection, processing and shipping of biospecimens • Assist staff during study visits with enrolled parents and their babies • Perform data entry and assist in data analysis • Be able to travel to various locations throughout New York City • Availability on weekdays, weekends, evenings and/or holidays • Other duties as assigned • Attend orientation and other necessary trainings

Qualifications: • Earning and/or received BA/MA/MPH/MD • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Comfortable working with diverse population • Spanish and/or Chinese language skills preferred

Organization Description: School of Medicine (NYUSoM). The study is based upon a decade-long history of successful observational and interventional studies that recruit pregnant women at NYUSoM affiliates. Beginning in the first trimester of pregnancy, NYU CHES has recruited and enrolled over 2000 women from diverse populations served by NYU Tisch, Bellevue, and NYU Brooklyn. NYU CHES postnatal is the pediatric follow up phase. We are seeking an intern to help us assist in the recruitment and follow up process. This internship opportunity may fulfill a practicum requirement.
