Purpose: The Program Consultant – CAHC (Child and Adolescent Health Center) is responsible for providing technical assistance and training to CAHC funded school-based and school-linked health cen centers. The consultant, as part of the CAHC Pro Program team, works to ensure the provision of of the best possible service for children and and families accessing CAHCs.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide individualized technical M MDHHS assistance to CAHC program sites. • Serve as a liaison between the MDHHS a and program sites. • Monitor grant reports and budgets to a assure proper use of grant funds. • Review annual plans for feasibility. • Perform site reviews to assure p program requirements are being met. • Work on special projects as needed. • Serve as a point person for funded c centers. • Serve on the CAHC MDHHS team, attend team team meetings as needed, and take on special proj projects related to the program.
Education: Master’s degree in Public Health, or or another related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience work working in public health or relevant field.
Important Skills and Characteristics: Kn Knowledge of adolescent and school health is issues. Ability to troubleshoot clinic is issues. Ability to interpret minimum program re requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Standard office environment. May require valid vehicle operator’s license where neede needed to perform duties of the position.
