Position Description: The MCH Epi Program Manager is responsible for managing and directing the work of the MCH Epi Program. The work of the MCH Epi program directly supports the MCH Unit/Title V program and assists Public Health Nursing (PHN) and the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Units. This support includes, but is not limited to, developing and maintaining MCH surveillance systems, assist in conducting needs assessments, collaborating with the MCH Unit to plan, develop, and evaluate MCH interventions/programs, and use varied methods to communicate MCH population needs with decision makers and stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on the ability to organize projects so that data collection, analysis, and dissemination are made on an ongoing and efficient basis with results provided to the programs in a timely manner.
