Compensation: $3,775.37-$4,792.90/mo. not including longevity. Starting is usually $3,755.37
Position Description: Purpose: Coordinate needle exchange (NEX) operations. Conduct HIV/ STD and hepatitis testing and outreach as needed within populations at high risk. May have to directly provide initial client transportation to services. Transportation of clients is only authorized with the use of a company vehicle.

Qualifications: Required Minimum Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in social work, c counseling or other closely related field. •Two years of experience working with m marginalized populations. •Experience implementing harm reduction t techniques with People Who Inject Drugs ( (IDU) and/ or Needle Exchange Service (NEX) p preferred •An equivalent combination of education, experience and professional certification may be considered provided the individual’s b background demonstrates the knowledge, s skills and abilities required for the p position. •Knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Wor Word, Excel, Access and Outlook as well as abi ability to learn specialized software uti utilized at Spokane Regional Health Dis District.

Required Licensure/Certification: •Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and i insurance or access to transportation on a d daily basis to complete essential functions o of the position. •Ability to complete venipuncture training a and perform blood draws for testing within 6 m months of hire.
