Position Description: The Leon Lab in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Rollins School of Public Health seeks to prevent parasitic and enteric diseases (specifically Norovirus and Rotavirus) in vulnerable populations in the Americas. Some of their projects include preventing outbreaks from fresh produce by investigating hand hygiene on farmworkers in the U.S. Mexico Border and reducing morbidity and mortality from rotavirus by investigating ways to improve the efficacy of the rotavirus vaccine in Bolivia and Colombia.

We are seeking a motivated student with an interest in this field to assist with various tasks related to these and other projects that the lab is involved with. This could include, but is not limited to, various laboratory tasks including sample inventory and aliquoting and quantitative analysis of study databases. Work-study Position
