Salary Grade: 19

Provides non-professional support services in community health settings throughout Pima County. This classification is distinguished from the Medical Assistant classification by its emphasis on performing support services. The Medical Assistant generally performs delegated clinical procedures appropriate for the required level of Medical Assistant education and training.

Minimum of one (1) year experience conducting community outreach and education Minimum of six months experience participating in community groups, coalitions, or community member meetings Bilingual English/Spanish. Selection Procedure: Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum/desired qualifications. Candidates meeting the minimum/desired qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications.
