Position Description: |
Interdisciplinary position in policy, advocacy, and/or disability studies and speech, language, and hearing sciences: We are searching for someone to teach in and help us build an innovative interdisciplinary certificate at the forefront of disability/access policy and advocacy, in advance of a new, related Master’s of Public Health degree program. The successful candidate will have expertise to teach courses in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences as well as courses with a focus in disability studies, policy, or advocacy at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Qualifications: |
Exercises considerable initiative, leadership, judgment, responsibility and decision-making. Candidates must meet one of these profiles: Hold a PhD in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or a related field with expertise in access, disability policy, and/or advocacy. Hold a PhD in Public Health, Policy, Disability Studies, or a related field, and be able to teach courses in audiology or speech-language pathology. A demonstrated record of teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred
