Position Description: What You'll Do

This person will have a vision of the future of data collection and will help identify and acquire new measures of health conditions and behaviors. In addition, you will also be involved in research efforts across the company, in consultation with clinical experts, biologists, and statisticians, including to:

Evaluate and improve electronic health record, self-reported, sensor, or image-derived health data, among others Employ methods that could address user experience or phenotyping algorithms, for example Understand and review available health data with stakeholders Propose health data collection strategies for genetic discovery Mentor or manage junior scientists and research associates

Qualifications: What You'll Bring

Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, or a relevant behavioral or social science Experience with quantitative research, and analysis in R or Python 8 years experience in health research Strong communication and leadership skills An ability to work on teams, in a fluid and highly collaborative environment Experience managing people a plus Some understanding of genetics and biology, experience with web design or coding, or with qualitative or user research a plus
