The selected candidates will be joining an exceptional core faculty in the area of Epidemiology housed in the multi-disciplinary Department of Population Health Sciences within the School of Public Health at Georgia State University. Its unique and contemporary School of Public Health is a CEPH-accredited program with more than 800 graduate and undergraduate students and over 50 faculty and academic professionals with emphases in urban health research, applied public health, health policy, and community applications.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience Strong methodological background is preferred. Expertise is welcome in focused areas including social epidemiology, causal inference, infectious disease, maternal and child health, or surveillance. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, and candidates must display a willingness and ability to contribute to the University and profession through service activities.

The Georgia State SPH offers a range of CEPH-accredited degree programs, from a bachelor’s degree in public health to an MPH in six concentrations, a PhD in four concentrations and a DrPH program for professionals in the field.
