Job title: Senior Project Manager, HMIS

Job purpose
The Senior Project Manager, Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) at Partners for HOME plays a crucial role in advancing our organizational mission through expert management and oversight of HMIS. This position is designed for a highly skilled, energetic professional who excels in data management and system administration under the guidance of the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement. The HMIS Administrator will be responsible for the comprehensive handling of HMIS, including training internal staff, managing HUD reporting requirements, maintaining database integrity, and ensuring compliance with federal mandates. Additionally, the administrator will lead the development and maintenance of training materials, manage system updates, and troubleshoot technical issues, all while fostering strong relationships with both internal team members and external partners. This role is critical in ensuring that data- driven insights effectively support the organization's goals and enhance service delivery to the community, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic oversight, and community engagement
Role and Responsibilities
Operational duties include, but are not limited to:
Working in close partnership with internal staff, the City of Atlanta Staff/Departments, and other key stakeholders to execute pertinent HMIS and data quality activities; Conducting trainings for internal staff on HMIS; Overseeing required HMIS HUD reporting including the Annual Performance Report (APR), Longitudinal System Analysis (LSA), Point in Time Count (PIT), and Housing Inventory Count (HIC); Overseeing HMIS database administration including proper set-up of agencies and projects, maintenance of user licenses, and responding to issue tickets; Assisting with grant reporting for HMIS ; Overseeing processes for data quality monitoring; Overseeing development and maintenance of training materials and curriculum including recorded webinars; Overseeing troubleshooting of technology failures and provide technical assistance; Managing and implementing HUD mandated HMIS changes; Maintaining relationships with partner agencies through community and collaborative meetings as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements
High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals 3+ years experience with HMIS (or equivalent) 2+ years experience conducting HMIS administrator duties (or equivalent) 4+ years in in social services Ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines Significant experience building relationships, and gaining community buy-in and consensus building Experience leading work groups and trainings Previous experience in partnering with leadership for the delivery of projects Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Superb organizational skills, with the proven ability to create and implement efficient development systems, plan strategically, allocate work, set, and manage objectives, analyze and mitigate risk, and create and manage projects Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast- paced, diverse, results-oriented environment, and to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Supervisory Responsibilities
Will be responsible for any additional HMIS system administrators.
Financial Responsibilities
May be responsible for monitoring contracts, grants, and other awards as it relates to HMIS.
Compensation
$70,000 annually with benefits.
