| Position Description: |
The Injury and Violence Epidemiologist III performs highly advanced research and epidemiological work in injury and prevention. Responsibilities: serves as the primary liaison on data and program data quality and provides consultation, presentations, and troubleshooting on data; develops and implements advanced epidemiologic investigations following new or standardized scientific policies/protocols; and oversees data abstraction, prepares data quality reports, and checks data quality meets or exceeds defined criteria.
This position requires strong project management skills to organize major projects and meet deadlines, and strong technical writing skills to communicate project and research information clearly and succinctly to state and federal agencies. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners, work in a team environment, and feel comfortable making recommendations for program improvement to a variety of audiences.
