Position Description: The Program Coordinator is responsible for working with primary care practices for successful implementation of evidence-based interventions, population health strategies, and quality improvement activities to establish organized approaches to cancer screenings within clinical settings. This position is responsible for managing and cultivating relationships, assessing clinical workflow and processes, using practice facilitation, and coaching to drive quality improvements related to increased cancer screenings. Works under limited supervision. Finally, the program coordinator will assist in the implementation of the cancer early detection and prevention programs.

Qualifications: Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a health or health care related discipline such a s Public Health Policy, Administration, Health Communications, Quality Improvement or related. Five years experience working in federally-qualified health center or another health system, working in health care quality improvement, completion of health care quality improvement training program, experience in quality improvement preferably in a clinic setting. Master’s degree in public health, health education or other related field with 2 years of professional level experience may substitute for required experience.
