| Position Description: |
Primary duties: Work closely with the Zoonotic and Vectorborne Disease Program Manager to: • Coordinate with the Zoonotic and Vectorborne Disease Travel Epidemiology to prepare for emergency diseases. • Provide consultation aligning with current state and national guidelines for rabies prevention and control in people and animals. • Conduct case review, syndromic and other types of surveillance; create and update relevant maps related to rabies and other zoonotic diseases. • Conduct data analysis and disease risk analysis, update guidance documents, and provide written and verbal reports related to rabies and other zoonotic diseases and support county health department investigations of suspect rabies and other zoonotic diseases. • Develop and provide relevant trainings for county health departments and other stakeholders related to rabies and other zoonotic diseases. • Support emergency response for zoonotic and vectorborne diseases. • Crosstrain to provide support with vectorborne disease investigations and response. • Perform other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: |
• Master of Public Health with an emphasis in epidemiology, biostatistics, or demographics strongly preferred. • At least 2 years of experience preferred. Salary varies with level of experience.
