| Position Description: |
The Data Manager designs and directs data systems, feedback and assessment plans and tools, and evaluation plans for various cancer center Community Outreach and Engagement programs, and develops the dissemination plans of results. The incumbent will serve as the lead for data management, data analysis, and presenting and reporting findings, including key performance measures, in order to evaluate program outputs and outcomes. The role is essential for reporting to organizations and agencies which include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She/he also develops and oversees processes, impact, and outcomes, evaluation plans to assess other specific projects and overall program performance and specific public health initiatives (e.g. Community- based projects, media campaigns). This position is supervised by the Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Program’s (LCP) Program Director or Assistant Director and will lead LCP’s evaluation team.

| Qualifications: |
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in a health related field with five years of relevant full time work. A Master’s degree with a concentration in behavioral and community health or epidemiology; MS in health related field may substitute for two years of experience or a PhD may substitute for the five years of professional experience. Preferred experience includes evaluating public health or community programs or experience working with clinical data or clinic trials, knowledge of and experience working in cancer control, and experience working with clinical data.
