The Pharmacist will provide general pharmacy support and coordination for pharmaceutical operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform pharmaceutical and medical supply sourcing, reconciliation, and invoice management. Provide pharmaceutical clinical, educational, and informational services for programs and public health staff. Provide pharmaceutical consultation and guidance for nurse protocols. Provide 340B guidance to programs and staff. Monitor and assess 340B guidance and/or rule changes, including, but not limited to HRSA/OPA rules and Medicaid changes. Audit all points of service where 340B participation occurs to ensure compliance with 340B program requisites, including entity and patient qualifications and ensure consistent processes are followed across all. Conduct onsite assessments of facilities for programs and highlight best practices and report deficiencies identified for appropriate resolution. Work collaboratively with all Pharmacists to support programs and operations.

Doctorate or professional degree in pharmacology from an accredited college or university. Current Georgia license to practice pharmacology. Six months of professional pharmacology experience OR one year of experience at the lower-level Pharmacist.
