Position Description: Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) seeks a dynamic and experienced Community Health Educator (CHE) Supervisor to lead the HIV/STI testing Outreach Team. The HIV/STI Testing team is part of the Division of Population Health and Disease Prevention, within the Bureau of Clinical Services and HIV/STI Prevention. The bureau implements programs focused on HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis prevention. BCHD seeks candidates with a strong background in community health education team leadership and fostering community relationships. This position will help lead our community outreach efforts around health education and HIV/STI/HCV testing. The successful applicant’s job portfolio will include oversight of a team of community health educators, developing and implementing testing and resulting, care linkage, and referral procedures, and collaborating with internal and external partners to promote community health education and integrated testing procedures. This position reports to the Director of HIV/STI Prevention.

Qualifications: EDUCATION: Have a master's degree in public or community health education from an accredited college or university. AND EXPERIENCE: Have three years of experience in community health education. OR EQUIVALENCY NOTES: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
