- Knowledge of business and management principles involved strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, service delivery, and coordination of people and resources. • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and experience with software packages, such as SAS, SQL, ArcGIS, Access & Excel. • Experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of health programs • Demonstrated experience as a supervisor supervising multiple programs and a variety of complex tasks • Experience providing problem resolution and support for strategic planning • Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbally and in writing

Additional Considerations

- Considerable knowledge of methods of public health surveillance and case, cluster, and outbreak investigations. • Demonstrated ability to collect, quality assure, analyze, interpret, & present statistical data. •Extensive experience in public health, cancer epidemiology, program evaluation, and/or biostatistics • Experience w/ database management systems, especially those used to manage population-based disease data or other conditions of public health significance.
