Minimum Qualifications: Research Associate I: Completed bachelor’s degree with emphasis in human nutrition or related field and up to 3 years relevant experience.
Research Associate II: Completed bachelor’s degree with emphasis in human nutrition or related field and more than 3 years relevant experience.
AND
Demonstrated skill working with people as individuals and in groups
Ability to communicate (oral, written and listening skills) as demonstrated by formal training, experience, and application materials
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
Experience delivering and/or managing a community or educational program
Familiarity with different socio-economic audiences, an interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds

Ability to work non-traditional hours occasionally (weekends and evenings)
Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date
Ability to travel across Denver metro counties (up to 5 days a week)
Preferred Qualifications: Completed master’s degree with emphasis in human nutrition or related field
Experience in Public Health and/or Nutrition Education program planning, implementation, and evaluation, targeting diverse, limited resource audiences
Prior experience hiring, training, supervising, motivating, and coaching peer (paraprofessional) educators
Experience in promoting, marketing, or creating public awareness of programs or services
Training and/or experience in research methods, data collection and/or program evaluation
Experience in securing financial support for educational programs including in-kind contributions, cost sharing, fundraising, etc.
Registered Dietitian
Ability to speak Spanish
