Position Description: We are seeking applications and nominations for an expert in Environmental Health with a focus on Environmental Epidemiology. This specialized role is designed for an environmental health researcher who operates on the cutting edge of environmental epidemiology and climate-health research with experience in the human health impacts of climate change, environmental toxicology, environmental exposure assessment and modeling, and quantitative health-risk assessment.

The ideal candidate will utilize a One Health framework and incorporate quantitative exposure modeling using approaches such as remote sensing, spatial statistics, GIS, and refined exposure assessments to estimate individual- and population-level exposures and doses, and link these with toxicity, exposure-response/dose-response relationships, and human health outcomes.

Faculty are expected to teach, develop new courses, engage in interdisciplinary research, apply for external funding for their research, advise students, and contribute to translating research into action.

Qualifications: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree (e.g., DrPH, ScD) in Environmental Epidemiology, Environmental Health, or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong publication track record. Senior applicants would require a track record of funding.

Your focus must be on one of the following areas:

• Environmental Epidemiology (e.g., Air/Water Pollution, Climate & Health)

• Exposure Science / Environmental Exposure Assessment

• Occupational Health & Occupational Epidemiology

• Spatial Epidemiology & GIS Applications for Health

• Environmental Toxicology / Exposure- Response, Dose-Response & Health Risk Assessment

Note: This position focuses specifically on the intersection of human health and the environment. Candidates whose research focuses primarily on environmental monitoring, pollutant characterization, environmental engineering, or environmental science without a substantive focus on human exposure, dose, toxicity, and health outcomes are not eligible.
