| Position Description: |
The Program Coordinator, Enhanced Surveillance plans, organizes, coordinates, and conducts Enhanced Surveillance activities, including syndromic surveillance, wastewater surveillance, surveillance for diseases of seasonal importance (including respiratory diseases and endemic vector-borne disease), and other enhanced or non-traditional surveillance activities. Supervises program staff in all areas of Enhanced Surveillance. The Program Coordinator is responsible for generating surveillance reports to inform the prevalence and distribution of diseases routinely and during outbreaks. Participates in outbreak and control activities. Provides training and establishes strategic priorities in the areas of syndromic, wastewater, and seasonal surveillance, as well as other non- traditional surveillance data sources.

| Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications ·Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related Public Health concentration. ·Five (5) years of experience in disease surveillance and control or epidemiologic data analysis. ·Two (2) years of supervisory and/or managerial experience in relevant public health programs ·Proficient in R, SAS, or Python
Preferred Qualifications ·Experience in communicable disease investigation. ·Advanced knowledge of statistical methods
