| Position Description: |
This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position starting in August 2027. Summer instruction is optional. All summer courses are offered online. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public health and health promotion (face-to- face and/or online). The selected candidate will also be expected to provide service to the University, profession, and community, and perform other duties as assigned. | Organization Description: |
The Public Health program in the Department of Health Science is comprised of 24 full-time faculty members whose research and teaching interests span a variety of areas that center on improving the health and well-being of individuals, communities, populations, and the environment. The Department is home to over 800 majors enrolled in one of the degree programs in the Department, including the BS in Public Health (concentrations in Health Education and Promotion, and Health Professions); Master of Public Health (concentration in Health Education and Promotion); MA in Health Studies; PhD in Health Education and Promotion; and MS in Athletic Training. The BS in Public Health and the Master of Public Health degrees are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
