I. TITLE: Accounting Clerk
II. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Computer experience in the areas of spreadsheets and word processing *Good organizational skills and attention to details *Trade or technical school training in the areas of automated accounting systems *Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
III. REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
IV. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager the Accounting Clerk will assist in maintaining scanning, filing and organizing the records of the Accounting Department.
V. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Assist in filing accounts payable and accounts receivable paperwork as required *Assist in processing contract billing invoices and other documents as requested *Assist in AP and AR processing functions as directed *Prepare and scan all records for the Accounting Department *Other duties as assigned by the manager
-Maintain confidentiality in matters of agency operations, personnel and clients -Maintain positive communications with all agency staff, clients and visitors -Exercises good judgment in performance of duties and responsibilities -Support existing agency policies, principles, and mission
