Position Description: This position in the Division of Emergency Preparedness and Community Support - Bureau of Emergency Medical Oversight will serve as an Epidemiologist and will directly support the Florida Enhanced State Opioid Overdose Surveillance (FL-ESOOS) program and its strategies (activities / outputs) and outcomes by leveraging in-scope data sources -- including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS) – State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System (SUDORS) module -- for purposes of statewide opioid-overdose surveillance, program evaluation, quality assessment, and required reporting. This position will provide support to the program's Principal Investigator and is a highly responsible and technical position requiring specific education, capability, and skills.

Qualifications: •Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology or BioStatistics •Proficient in SAS, SPSS, Excel, and/or other statistical analysis software programs
