School of Nursing Office of Research Summer Student Position
Office of Nursing Research The Office of Nursing Research (ONR) mission is to empower faculty and students to advance nursing science to improve health and wellbeing by setting the standard for innovative collaborative scholarship. ONR is comprised of a service-oriented dedicated team of professionals who provide comprehensive support for the development of grant applications, the conduct and management of projects, and the dissemination of results.
Job Description The ONR summer student will work on a variety of projects, including assisting with the production of reports and presentations, implementation of the research communication strategy, and coordinating special events.
Responsibilities - Develop timely and engaging ONR social media content - Assists with data entry and reporting (primarily in Excel) - Assist with coordinating ONR lunch & learn and workshop series - Assist with development of PowerPoint presentations - Assist with drafting eNewsletter and ONR webpage content - Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications - Must possess experience in using social media (i.e. Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) - Professional written and verbal communication skills - Must possess experience in communications, public relations or marketing - Ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team - Attention to detail - Have a positive attitude
- Master’s level student preferred.
