Position Description: -The responsibilities include oversight for a all aspects of medical care administered to i individuals while being treated for opioid d dependency under the direction of the M Medical Director. -Admit and discharge individuals. -Develop or approve all medical protocols -Recommend innovative medical program d developments and implement where applicable, r reasonable and clinically sound using c current best practice protocols. -Provide Individuals evaluation of and p prescription for opioid addition; adjust a appropriate opioid replacement medications a as indicated (Methadone, Buprenorphine, B Buprenorphine and Naloxone or Naltrexone) a and complete associated documentation. -The Treatment Services Physician is a key m member of the Treatment Team of SRHD T Treatment Services. Major functions include t the medical oversight of treatment planning a and care delivery for opioid addiction and m mental health services. -The goals and objectives of the position a are focused on ensuring an efficient system b by which quality of health standards are g guaranteed to all patients by providers. -The nature of this position is fast-paced in high-stress situations and conditions.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience: -Medical degree from an accredited u university and completion of an accredited R Residency Program in Psychiatry, Internal M Medicine or other specialty -Minimum six months of experience working wi with individuals with issues of addiction Required Licenses & Certifications: -Current and valid license to practice medicine in the State of Washington; U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Substance Registration certificate (DEA); Board Eligible; and Schedule II and below prescriptive authority from the State of Washington
