Position Description: The Early Childhood Services Research Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health is hiring a Senior Research Program Coordinator. The Early Childhood Services Research Program is dedicated to conducting high-quality, utilization-focused research across the United States to improve the life course of families with young children. The ideal candidate for the position is a self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented individual with excellent people skills and organizational abilities. The Senior Research Program Coordinator will be primarily responsible for leading day-to-day operations of evaluative research involving the Maryland Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood home visiting (MIECHV) program. MIECHV programs serve at-risk pregnant women and families with young children across the state.

Duties: • Establish and maintain relationships with participating home visiting programs, study sites, research partners, and home visiting stakeholders across the state. • Prepare study protocols and research plans for submission to IRB. • Implement study protocols with fidelity and in accordance with institutional policy regarding human subjects and data security. • With support, develop of recruitment tools and data collection instruments. • Recruit participants and collect study data. • Create and use moderately complex to complex tracking databases based on study requirements. • Schedule meetings and conference calls with stakeholders and develop meeting agendas and materials. • Lead meetings with project staff to review timelines, delegate tasks, and obtain updates. • Review study progress with Principal Investigator and federal, state, and local partners. • Assist with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. • Prepare documents, data tables, and graphs for reports, presentations, and meetings. • Write reports and disseminate evaluation findings to home visiting sites and stakeholders. • As needed, represent the project at state and local meetings, such as through presentations and networking with stakeholders and colleagues from other institutions.

Masters degree in Public Health or other related field preferred.
