Position Description: The Office of Performance Analysis is searching for a Technical Information Coordinator to help improve the way the department disseminates analytical information to make decisions that positively impact the lives of people with behavioral health disorders and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Technical Information Coordinator reports to the Director of the Office of Performance of Analysis. The Office of Performance Analysis provides sophisticated, advanced research and statistical data to DBHDD leadership and other DBHDD stakeholders, including those that receive services. This is a new position that will ideally be held by an individual with proven experience translating highly-technical information and research and analytical findings using creativity, graphic design, and excellent writing and communication skills to communicate to a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate enjoys using their software/communication skills to translate results of data analyses to cogent educational reports, infographics, images, and various media. The Technical Information Coordinator will be responsible for the following: Engaging DBHDD leaders during the inception and design of projects to understand the goals and methods by which to communicate research and analytical findings targeted to various stakeholders Conveying analytical, highly-technical scientific, research analysis in a marketing, engaging, and understandable manner that fosters efficient and effective comprehension of various stakeholders Conduct audience analysis in order to simplify complex concepts or processes Communicate technical information in a format to help readers and audiences find what they need, understand what they find, and use what they understand effectively Preparing written, graphic, and other media formats to communicate results of analytical studies Coordinate the content development and production of information from multiple, simultaneous projects Creating infographics and brochures that convey analytical results in concise, simple terms for internal and external parties Explaining design best practices to peers with and without quantitative backgrounds Converting graphs from raster image formats to vector formats for resizing Collecting, managing, and publishing information in multiple forms and media

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic illustration, communication, marketing, English, journalism, or a closely-related field Strong project management, content management, or project coordination experience and skills Demonstrated ability to create attractive, legible infographics or documents and concisely, expertly-written reports, presentations Familiarity with best practices in creating documents for quick communication of complex results Experience using graphic design software such as Inkscape, Gimp, Scribus, Adobe, or equivalent Experience making accurate graphs and tables conveying statistical results Ability to use MS Office products Excellent critical thinking skills, especially as they relate to the social sciences Excellent written, graphic, and verbal communication skills
